I have intentionally limited the numbers to have an intimate atmosphere. Also, offering time for questions and conversations. Day in day out, I am giving advice to expectant mothers on the best sleeping positions for comfort and postures to ease back pain. Sharing expertise and knowledge on healthy back, hip and pelvic function. Plus, how the tension and imbalances in their pelvic floor muscles can affect not only their comfort but their developing baby’s position (super important as your due date nears…).
She was 22 weeks pregnant at the time and the biggest thing she struggled with was getting her two older kids in and out of the car. She was pregnant and in pain which equals being completely fed up and tired. While aches and pains are common in pregnancy, they are not always normal. This lovely lady thought she was going to have to put up with this pain for the remainder of her pregnancy. A lot of medications are not advised during pregnancy, so she was desperately seeking a natural, gentle method of relief.
We started a unique plan of care with gentle hands-on work. Plus plenty of tailored home-time recommendations on things like sitting positions, stretches and natural supports to relief. Within a few visits she was feeling much more comfortable and back to herself. Even getting out for walks and enjoying time with her beautiful bump!
Rather than wanting the pregnancy to be “done already” due to aches … The more comfortable and healthy the pregnancy is, the more enjoyable this special time with your growing baby is likely to be.

A lot of people having aches have been told “it will be fine once the baby comes” and I want to provide tips to alleviate them now. Everyone deserves a beautiful, natural pregnancy. For the large majority of women this should be within their grasp. The more information available, the better choices women can make and the more confident they feel. I want to share ways to support both the mother’s body, and the baby, in gentle, natural ways.
