Day in day out, I am giving advice to expectant mothers on the best sleeping positions for comfort and postures to ease back pain. Sharing expertise and knowledge on healthy back, hip and pelvic function. Plus, how the tension and imbalances in their pelvic floor muscles can affect not only their comfort but their developing baby’s position (super important as your due date nears…).
She was 22 weeks pregnant at the time and the biggest thing she struggled with was getting her two older kids in and out of the car. She was pregnant and in pain which equals being completely fed up and tired. While aches and pains are common in pregnancy, they are not always normal. This lovely lady thought she was going to have to put up with this pain for the remainder of her pregnancy. A lot of medications are not advised during pregnancy, so she was desperately seeking a natural, gentle method of relief.
We started a unique plan of care with gentle hands-on work. Plus plenty of tailored home-time recommendations on things like sitting positions, stretches and natural supports to relief. Within a few visits she was feeling much more comfortable and back to herself. Even getting out for walks and enjoying time with her beautiful bump!
Rather than wanting the pregnancy to be “done already” due to aches … The more comfortable and healthy the pregnancy is, the more enjoyable this special time with your growing baby is likely to be.
Some of the home advice and suggestions I give pregnant mothers in my one-to-one work I will be discussing and explaining in this upcoming event. How to help and support ailments such as lower back pain, leg or hip pain, leg cramps, heartburn, headaches, foot and ankle swelling. Proactive positive health choices you can incorporate easily into your daily life to support well-being and the baby’s development.
It is all about providing some straightforward tips to implement, and extra knowledge to fuel your confidence! A lot of people having aches have been told “it will be fine once the baby comes” and I want to provide tips to alleviate them now. For extra knowledge and direction on how to support a natural pregnancy, please book a place today. Learn postures that are helpful for moving through the pregnancy with comfort, and that can support the baby’s position as the due date nears.
And hopefully in the process minimising that beached-whale feeling… So if that sounds good, book a spot here.
This 90 minute presentation only has 20 spaces. I am not sure when or if I will hold this again. So, even for those early on in pregnancy I would recommend booking a place. Have the knowledge already ready to rock!
Don’t forget partners are welcome to come along too. If they have the knowledge to support the right choices, it will be easier to implement them!
Everyone deserves a beautiful, natural pregnancy. For the large majority of women this should be within their grasp. The more information available, the better choices women can make and the more confident they feel. I want to share ways to support both the mother’s body, and the baby, in gentle, natural ways. Please join me on the 18th January – I have kept the cost low as I want to reach as many pregnant mamas and share my expertise and knowledge.
Finally, this is a general talk so I want everyone to choose the options they feel comfortable with and consider that the information provided is not intended to replace individual medical advice.
The information given is intended to work alongside any current birth-plan and specific medical advice. Everyone should take what you want from it!!
